It’s that time of year again, where the holidays are quickly approaching, and holiday shopping has commenced! But, did you know Small Business Saturday is coming up, as well? This is the perfect opportunity for your small business to take advantage of this unique holiday!

Small Business Saturday is an annual holiday that occurs on the last Saturday of November. So, don’t fret you still have plenty of time to prepare! The holiday was first implemented on November 27, 2010 by American Express, in effort to support small businesses during the economy recession. That was then, the “Shop Small” movement was born and has continued to succeed every year. Small Business Saturday celebrates the significance of small businesses and their impact to the community. The main purpose of the holiday is to encourage holiday shoppers to shop at their local small business. Find out in our next mini blog: The Importance of Small Business Saturday.
